Data storage & measurement
Updated 18 October 2026. This page explains how the game's technical storage works.
Your progress stays in your browser
The game saves your order, results, completion times and chosen appearance locally on your device. These saved game records are not sent to the aggregate measurement system. You can delete them by clearing this website's data in your browser.
What the website counts in aggregate
We count loaded game pages, the first sorting action or submission of a round, new game completions and sharing actions. These include successfully copied links or text, opening WhatsApp, completed calls to the sharing feature and started downloads of the result image.
Only a combined count is stored for each calendar day in Europe/Berlin, game mode, event and fixed channel group such as “direct”, “Instagram” or “shared”. The channel group comes from a label in the game link. Unrecognised labels are grouped as “other”. Tests are counted separately under “qa”.
The measurement records contain no IP addresses, accounts, visitor identifiers, fingerprints, scores, complete web addresses, referring pages or free text. We do not set cookies or store an identifier in your browser for this measurement. We do not count unique people or build individual visit histories.
What the numbers do not show
A page load is not a unique person. Reloading can count again. A sharing action does not prove that someone sent the message or opened the link. Automated traffic can affect the counters; they are not verified advertising reach.
Technical limits and your browser choices
If your browser signals “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, the game sends no measurement events. Blocked or failed measurement requests do not prevent you from playing. The data is sent to the same website, not an additional analytics service.
When the website loads or you open an external link, the relevant hosting or destination platform processes connection data needed to provide its service. This page describes storage by the game code and the shared counter table.
